Students will practice using the index in a non-fiction book to search for areas of interest before reading. After doing a minilesson on using the index, students will choose a non-fiction book to read on their own and will record a section from the index that looked interesting to them.
To solve the problem, make sure you do these two things: On a MAC or PC, install the latest version of ADOBE READER (http://get.adobe.com/reader/). Then, open the file with ADOBE READER. On a MAC, make sure to "Open With" ADOBE READER and NOT Preview. If it's still blurry, that's because you are still opening it with Preview. This should do the trick! Erin
