Kids love to read jokes, it's a great way to practice those new skills they're learning. Plus if they understand the joke, you know their comprehension is good too!
Once you have copied them, laminate them, then cut them out and tape the color heart on top of the black and white heart. The students will read the joke first, then lift the heart to see the answer.
At our school we put these jokes on the kid's lockers so that they can be read while at their lockers. However they may be gone to the bathroom too long, just because they stopped to read these jokes!
They are made using DJ Inkers clip art & fonts. © www.djinkers.com.
