Here are 12 ready-to-use, challenging and fun Valentine's Day Activities (with answer keys) that will get your students to use their head in this time of the heart.
The focus is on Critical Thinking Skills, but there is also some Math and Language Arts as well. Includes practice with logical thinking, deductive reasoning, computation, homophones, spatial skills and more. You will not find brainless word searches or computer generated crossword puzzles here! Great for early work, enrichment, or homework.
The pages are in color for the document camera but will print out fine in grayscale.

You know it's funny, I started to write one a couple weeks ago and it just didn't feel right...I kept coming up with questions that felt too adult (love theme), or that seemed like they could lead to unpleasant conversations about friendship and Valentines. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
Most of my teaching experience is with gifted and talented students in grades 2-4, though I have worked with children of all ages in general education classrooms as well. A few years ago I stopped teaching in order to write nonfiction children's books full time. Gradually over the last couple of years, my career has switched from writing to creating teaching materials here on Teacher Pay Teacher. I love creating teaching products (most recently task cards) and feel just as passionate about my work now as I did when I was teaching. I also love knowing that my products help thousands of teachers and reach tens of thousands of students.
