This fun activity is a great way to get your students interactive during around Valentines Day (or anytime you want a reason to use candy for a lesson!) Students examine a bag/box of Valentine's Day candy and come up with various ways to classify the candy. They then use one of the methods to create bar graphs, circle graphs and box and whisker plots. Each graph is on a separate sheet of paper, so if your students have not covered that material yet, simply set it aside! A follow up probability page is also included that focuses on the color of the candy.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
