These cards can be used in place of the typical Candy Land cards. Typical first grade word wall words are listed on each card. The players must read the word on their card before moving to the appropriate place on the game board. Students love this activity because they think they are only playing Candy Land (when they are really practicing their word recognition skills!)
The document also includes blank cards so that you can write in your own words, if needed.
