I love the materials, especially the sheets which provide student accountability while they are working. I only wish I knew that I needed things like star stickers and 10 colors of cardstock to make everything... I'm going to color everything in with crayons before I laminate instead which is going to take some time. Additionally, there is a lot of teacher work to put things together (cutting out pictures and attaching to stars etc.) that I didn't really want to put the time in to do or I would have done it by myself in the first place. The activities are super cute, though, and very appropriate for my centers this next couple of weeks.

I am in my fourth year of teaching. I was a non-traditional student who decided to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher after many years. My first three years of teaching, I worked as a special education teacher serving Kindergarten and First Grade students who had deficits in math and reading. Although my job could be quite challenging and overwhelming at times, I absolutely loved it! This year, I ventured into a classroom. Currently, I am a second grade teacher and loving every minute of it!! When I look back, I am so happy I made the decision to return to the classroom seven years ago and pursue my education and fulfill my dreams.
