Finding materials for Veterans Day for young students is always difficult!! With that thought in mind, I created this little book for Veterans Day in kindergarten classrooms!!
On each page of this book, there is a member of the armed forces in uniform with an item that he/she would use while working in the military. There is a speech bubble saying, "I have a ____." On the last page, three service members say "We are ready to serve."
The clip art features both men and women from all branches of the armed forces: army, navy, marines, air force, and coast guard.
This book includes the same text on both the top and bottom of each sheet of paper to make copying, sorting, stapling, and cutting easy to create a class set of little books!!

The book is very cute and my kids enjoyed coloring and reading it to their table partners. I would suggest going through it before giving it to the students- there are a couple of duplicated pages that you could probably take out.
