This word scramble has 16 words related to Veteran's Day - such as heroes, honor, patriotic, military, veteran, etc. Like a jumble, students have to unscramble the letters to come up with the words. This is a fun activity that helps develop vocabulary, word recognition, and sorting and classification skills. Answer key provided.

I have a total of 20 years teaching experience. After I received my M.Ed. from the University of Florida, I began teaching in elementary school, where I taught pull-out remedial classes for grades 2-5 and a section of K-1. Then I taught Pre-K for 5 years, before I decided to go up to Middle School, where I have been in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I am currently teaching 7th grade. I am certified in Elementary Education as well as in Middle Grades in the areas of Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I am certified as a Teacher Support Specialist.
