This I Have... Who Has..? game has 25 cards. It covers all the terms and definitions students need to know for Virginia Studies SOL VS.6,7. Words include: Parliament, colonists, Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson, Patriots, neutral, women, African Americans and American Indians, George Washington, Patrick Henry, James Lafayette, The Battle of Great Bridge, Jack Jouett, Yorktown, British, the first president, Father of Our Country, James Madison, Father of the Constitution, George Mason, Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, farmers, large areas of land and new opportunities, traditions/ ideas/ cultures, and Cumberland Gap.
Directions for play: Cut out the cards. Give each student one card (or two if there are less than 25 students). Choose a student to start. He/she asks the question at the bottom of the card. Whoever has the answer says "I have ---" and then asks the question on the bottom of the card. This continues until it gets back to first card.
Use the plain version above if you are just going to use it once and throw it away, or if you are going to give a set to each student to practice. You can also use it as an answer key.
Use the more visual version if you are going to laminate and use over and over again!
