This printable accompanies a writing lesson plan I previously posted. This activity is the first day of the activity. Students will visit the Jelly Belly Factory to see first hand how Jelly Belllies are made. Students will also learn about all the new and exciting flavors available. I use this as a spring board for a writing piece I do each spring. Once we visit the Jelly Belly factory, students design and write a paragraph describing a new flavor jelly belly. They use Microsoft Paint to create a new flavor. Then they create a PowerPoint presentation to "pitch" their idea. I did this with my 2nd grade class and it was a hit!
