This is a set of 4 place value charts that help students to visualize the placement of digits in a number. These charts help eliminate the confusion students often encounter in understanding that numbers are built from right to left by providing visual cues as to the starting (race car) and ending (checkered flag) placements. The charts can be used to build numbers, compare and order numbers, and add or subtract multidigit numbers. There are 4 versions of the chart included: labeled chart to hundred billion, unlabeled to hundred billion, labeled to thousand, and unlabeled to thousand.
