This listening map for the first movement of Vivaldi's "Spring", created by Lisa Greene, is a graphic organizer that helps teach the rondo form. Students listen to the main theme and then follow the map as they hear the theme return after each new section. Short descriptions of springtime events help them visualize what Vivaldi was trying to depict, and space is provided for student illustrations. (The sketch for Section A should be repeated, just as the melody is!) Making a transparency of the map will help the teacher guide students through the musical selection, which is approximately 3 1/2 minutes long and is widely available in the public domain.

Perhaps you don't check the site often, but I am hoping to use this page in class next week, but I need it to print without the "Sample" across the page. Can you help?
Sorry for the delay! I'm pretty new to this too, but I think I fixed it. I just uploaded a pdf file of the page without the "Sample" stamp. However, since you've already purchased and downloaded it, I'd be happy to email you the file if you want to give me your email address. Mine is greeneconsulting@comcast.net. Thanks for your interest and your patience.

Hi. I'm new to the site, and I noticed that even once I downloaded the file, the "sample" was still across the page. Does that somehow not come across in printing or copying? Thanks for your help.
