These posters present important vocabulary words for third graders. Each poster contains an important word selected from basal readers or content area lessons. The word is defined, used in a sentence, and illustrated. Some posters show multiple meanings, while other posters give synonyms. The words are written with suffixes and word endings, when appropriate to the sentence, which helps students extend their familiarity with the word.

I really like all the worksheets that go with the vocab word. The games will be great too. I plan to use this in small groups. The blank template is nice as well. My students can use them to take notes or make their own vocab cards.
