This file provides 11 activities to help students preview, practice and/or review vocabulary terms. Activities are general, and can be used in any subject area, for any type of vocabulary. They include games, hands-on activities, ways to accommodate visual learners, and graphic organizers. These activities have been highly effective in improving my English students ability to make meaning of their vocabulary terms, as well as to retain those meanings over time.
