This "Give One Get One" vocabulary activity helps the students acquire new vocabulary in a cooperative learning environment. The activity can be used to teach vocabulary in any subject area. For example, it can be used in social studies classes to learn geographic or economic terms, in science classes to learn different scientific terms, in math classes to learn mathematical terms, and in language arts classes to learn vocabulary from novels.
