This is a fun way to assess students' knowledge of their vocabulary words. They need to create a story using the words and drawing pictures that match the sentences. Students need to know how to use the word in context, so it is a valid way to assess students. It is also great for the students who love doing projects, as opposed to paper and pencil tests. The words on this document are: anguish, hesitated, hysterically, massive, reluctantly, sneered, and timidly. I used this while doing a lit circles type unit on "There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom." You can change the words to whatever words are currently being studied. Emily Jo
