This is a project that involves researching and making model volcanoes. Students were divided into groups and each group was assigned a specific volcano to research. They were to create a model volcano that resembled the volcano they researched. Then they presented their findings to the class and erupted their volcanoes. It includes 6 pages:
Page 1: Project Description and Outline
Page 2 & 3: Instructions on making the model volcano
Page 4: Student Fill In Chart (I gave each student a chart to fill in while they listened to the other groups present their volcano research)
Page 5: Project Grading Rubric
Page 6: Volcano List to cut out and distribute to students so that each group can research and create a model of a specific volcano.
