A new twist on an old favorite: The clay model volcano that erupts using baking soda and vinegar! Students will create a model of the volcano, completing 10 different labs using the science process skills throughout the lab. Skills include: observing, inferring, defining operationally, model making, communicating, predicting, classifying, and investigating.

I have taught for 16 years in a large, urban, public school district (I have taught in three different schools) and I LOVE it! I taught self-contained, multi-age gifted class for past seven years. Prior to this assignment, I taught regular ed 4th and 5th grades. I am now in an at-risk school teaching 5th grade! I am so lucky to have such great students, past and present!
