Includes a template with directions for creating the passport and creating a Cultures Around the World Day. This template is designed to be printed and the outside glued to blue construction paper. The rest creates the inside of the passport book. Students carry the book from class to class visiting different "countries" and participating in crafts, learning customs, and sampling food. It can also be used as part of any Unit of study for other countries or ancient civilizations.

Can you give me some more information. This has been something in my store for a long time and you're the first to have a copying issue. I want to try to figure out if there is something I need to look at. I've used this in my class for a long time and never had a problem with copying ... is there a certain page that gave you a problem?

Nancy, I'm so sorry you are disappointed. I wish there was a way to refund. The pictures spot is on the first inside page. It is designed to use the sticker pictures or small pictures you get from the school picture companies. They almost always give you 4 or 5. That is the actual size of the picture that typically goes in a real passport. My colleagues and I have always wanted the passport to look real. The inside stamp pages are for you to put your country stamps and then the continent maps for students to mark or star where they visit. I'm really sorry that it didn't fit your needs.

I just finished a unit on the states of matter that has a ton of fun for the kids too! I'm using it right now for the first time! There are oodles of science experiment station cards where you just put out the materials and they go to the station with a couple other students and complete the experiment and recording sheet. It also includes a lot of visuals and activities for interactive notes and review. At the end, there is a thorough test with answer sheet. My students are loving the experiments and now I don't have to go hunting for them in books ... If you are interested in looking at it, here is the link.

Your passport overall is good. The student page where they are to write their personal information is too small for Kindergarten. I would have to enlarge that page. I like the fact that you include destination maps, however the font sizes are too small.

I'm going to try to work on the pages this month and see if I can make some improvements - you'll get an email when it reposts so that you can download the update for free.
UPDATE: I have redone the passport. I couldn't get the words on the map to be clear so I redid the pages with blank maps of the continents. I've also added a sample flight ticket and improved some of the other pages.

Hi, Contessa! I love all of your materials, and I am especially inspired by your World Passport: Cultures Around the World class project and template! I am considering doing a project in my own classroom that would require a similar template; however, because I teach secondary Spanish, I would need to make a few changes to your existing template download. Do you by chance offer a customizable download (even a .doc would suffice!) that teachers can edit to fit their own needs? ¡MuchÃsimas gracias! :)
