I have divided the Paul Newman, John Cusack film into 3 segments of about 40 minutes each. The watching guide has a total of 61 questions on it and is designed to help students focus on the film and understand how the atomic bombs were built at Los Alamos.

The film covers the Manhattan project, the petition by the scientists towards the end of the project to demonstrate the device instead of dropping it on civilians, the effects of radiation poisoning, the political climate, etc.

It does not. It's easy to make as you watch the video, however. The next time I use it in class (some time in May), I'll create a key to go with it.

I start and stop the movie as answers appear and give students an opportunity to discuss what they've seen.
