Water, Carbon, Nitrogen, Phosphorus Cycle Review Game

This is the end of the unit PowerPoint review Game for my four part 2500 slide ecology abiotic factors unit that I offer on TpT. This unit also has a 14 page bundled homework package, modified version, 9 pages of unit notes, built-in hands-on activities with instructions and visuals, video links, built-in quizzes, review games, answer keys, rubrics, and much more.

I don't play this game like Jeo_ _ _ _ , instead, students record the answers 1-25 as they work in small table groups. Each question 1-20 is worth 5 pts while 20-25 are all bonus questions worth 1 pt each. The bonus round for this game has to do with alien pop culture. The final question is a 5 point wager question. The answers are provided after the review in PowerPoint form so the students can self assess. The questions are previewed one last time before the answers are revealed so the teacher can call upon table groups or individual students for the answer.

Text for the unit PowerPoint is presented in large print (32 font) and is placed at the top of each slide so it can seen and read from all angles of a classroom. A shade technique as well as color coded text helps to increase student focus and allows teacher to control pace of the lesson. Also included is a 14 page assessment / bundled homework that chronologically follows the slideshow for nightly homework and the end of the unit assessment, as well as a 8 page modified assessment. 9 pages of class notes with images are also included for students who require assistance, as well as answer keys all of the assessment for support professionals, teachers, and homeschool parents. 25 video links are provided and a slide within the slideshow cues teacher / parent when the videos are most relevant to play. Video shorts usually range from 2-7 minutes and are included in organized folders. One PowerPoint review game is included. Answers to the PowerPoint game is provided in PowerPoint form so students can self-assess. Lastly, several class games such as guess the hidden picture beneath the boxes, and the find the hidden owl somewhere within the slideshow are provided.
