The Lesson Lady presents Ways to Teach with Snow! Included are 15 activities and mini lessons you can use to teach students using the snow outside.
Sample lesson/activity #1: 1. Gather one cup of snow and let it melt. After it is melted, go outside and compare the snow to one cup of regular snow. What is the reason for the size difference? Discuss mass and volume of solids and liquids.
Lessons and activities are included for the four main subject areas including English, math, science, and social studies.
Also included is a blank journal page to record thoughts and instructions and a predictions and results sheet.
