This is a unit test for the novel, We Beat the Street, by doctors Sampson Davis, Rameck Hunt, and George Jenkins, with Sharon Draper. The test includes 40 multiple choice questions from the book, including some vocabulary. This test may be used after teaching the novel to the class, or as a way to check if students read the book independently. An answer key is included.

I enjoyed using this test for my 8th graders. They enjoyed answering the questions and practically re-experiencing the book all over again. My only request is for an answer key. I know it sounds petty, but I teach multiple levels of English. We Beat the Street is my 3rd novel in addition to MacBeth. The answer key would have been convenient. The test is great though. Thanks!
