Included in this Weather expressions vocabulary unit are flash cards in Spanish and English. These flash cards and bulletin board can accompany the Weather Power Point also available in the sparkenthusiasm store on TPT!
The vocabulary includes expressions such as hace calor, hay nubes, hace sol, and several more!
There are teacher flash cards with 2 vocabulary words per page that are illustrated in color. They are set up to be easily printed front/back and may be laminated for repeated use.
There are also student flash cards in black and white, arranged 6 per page for front/back English to Spanish copying. In addition, this unit includes creative games to play with these flash cards.
Also included is a bulletin board with the Spanish word and large clipart illustration to decorate your room and to further reinforce weather vocabulary.

I made copies of the student flashcards for them and laminated a copy of the teacher's in color. Then I glued a magnet on the back so they would adhere to the white board. I placed the English cards on the board and gave the ones in Spanish to the students. After the class divided into 2 groups, they timed each other as each team member put his card on the board to match the terms. It helps to get them up and moving occasionally. I hope to remember to get these out later when we discuss present progressive.

We have taught High School Spanish levels 1, 2, 3, and 4AP, as well as Business and Conversational Spanish classes for adults. We have also taught college Grammar and Conversation courses. We have also directed Spanish Camp for elementary students for many years. We are published authors and Spanish text editors and evaluators. We are also both Nationally Board Certified Teachers (WLOE).
