PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a 5 day unit on the Rock Cycle, Weathering, Erosion, Volcanoes, and Earthquakes. The Zip file comes with the lesson plan (all you need to do is add your state standards), 29 slide Rock Cycle Powerpoint, a 24 slide Erosion & Weathering Powerpoint, a 17 slide Volcano Powerpoint, a 20 slide Earthquakes Powerpoint, and a 16 question quiz including short/extended response practice opportunities. The quiz comes with an answer key. Suggested lab activities are included in the lesson plan. This is great for an intermediate elementary class.

This was such a great resource. For my advanced students, I set the PowerPoints up as computer centers and used the quiz questions as a guide for advanced organizers the students filled out while viewing independently. I used the same things as small group activities/whole group for my on-level and my inclusion class. Really great. Thanks.
