This is a collection of ALL of my Weekly Word problems. These word problems provide students with a brief problem solving practice each day. I've seen wonderful results with my own students, and they actually enjoy the seasonal questions and graphics! These are Common Core aligned.
August-addition and subtraction
September-addition and subtraction
October-addition and subtraction
November-addition, subtraction, and multiplication
December-addition, subtraction, and multiplication
January-addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
February-addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
March-addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
April-addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (larger numbers)
May-addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (larger numbers)
Please note that the word problems are asked using two different formats. One format is broken into daily word problems, and the other format includes a traditional worksheet.
Great way to challenge/ improve problem-solving abilities! I only wish I had found these earlier in the year. Thank you!

I was so excited when I found this packet. I appreciate you taking the time to put the questions in two different formats: daily and weekly! I can't wait to start my students on this next year!

This has been a great addition to our entry packet in the morning!
I really love using these with my students. Overall, I love the seasonal themes for each month. The only drawback I've experienced was with the month of October. I have a student who does not participate in any Halloween activities and that made his morning work time tricky. It would be nice to have an October option that does not have Halloween story problems. But I love the product!!
Fantastic! I love this resource! What a relief to have it all done and ready to go and looking GREAT! I love the two formats also! Nice touch. You think of everything!
This is by far my favorite product that I have purchased so far. I have already seen improvement with my students' abilities to do word problems, and I have only used it for 2 weeks now. Thank you!

Oct. Week 3 Number 9 Unsolvable as stated
October. October Week 3 Thursdays middle box should be 87 minutes (plural) not 87 minute.
**I would aopreciate notification when errors I've reported are fixed. This is a repost as I no longer even see it posted under your Question and Answers.**

Hi Ashley!
I purchased this and absolutely love it! I had asked about an 'editable' version due to having a student who's religious beliefs do not allow them to partake in holidays. You had mentioned that you could send me another file. If you could, please let me know how to send you my email address - I am on FB and could send it to you in a private message. Thank you SOOO much for this incredible packet!!!!

Hi Ashleigh,
I am really interested in purchasing the word problem bundle, but I have a question first. Do your October and December packs have a lot of references to Halloween and Santa respectively? I work at a Christian school and we have to be really careful on that front. Thanks for any input you can provide! I have so many of your resources and really love them, no doubt this one would be invaluable as well!
Yes, they do. A lot of the Halloween does and there is Halloween clipart (cute not scary). However since you do have a special situation, after you purchase them I could send you the Word version, so you can make the changes necessary. Also, I do sell the monthly if you'd rather skip October and December altogether. I'm happy to help however I can:)

Do you have a bundle for 5th grade correlated to the ccss?
I don't have them for 5th grade, but it should be too hard for me to revise the 3rd/4th grade version. I'm not 100% confident of what fifth grade teachers would want to see included in the word problems, so I'm open to suggestions:)

Ashleigh,
I have purchased all of your Monthly word problem sets except August. Is there any way you would consider selling just the sheets you added to the bundle to accommodate the common core standards?
Thanks,
Denise Fowler

There only a few multi-step problems, and I threw in a few problems with extra information. As the year progresses, they get more difficult. The addition and subtraction problems get larger, and I add quite a bit of subtraction across zero. By May there are 3-digit times 1-digit and 3-digit divided by 1-digit numbers. Please let me know if you need more information.
Yes! I will say that the April and May versions may be just a bit more challenging than the CCS. By May there are 3-digit times 1-digit and 3-digit divided by 1-digit numbers, but that is as hard as they get. I do throw in the occasional multi-step problem and problems with additional information, but the vast majority are basic word problems. I also tried to use a large variety of key words and phrases. Please let me know if you need more information.
Ashleigh, I bought some of your products earlier . I especially like the graphics you use. Would you mind sharing the name of the clip art program you use.

I've been teaching for 8 years and think I have the best job in the world! I've taught 3rd and 4th grades and love developing curriculum and activities for my students.
