The Weekly Word problems allow students to practice their word problem skills each day. The January version contains a mixture of addition, subtraction, multiplication, an division word problems. In this activity, students have to solve 3 word problems a day, and on Fridays they write their own word problem for a specific operation. There are 4 weeks worth of word problems in this product. I've also included a skill sheet that is a combination of the week's word problems which can be used as an end of the week assessment. All of the word problems have a winter related theme.
Love your hard work! Thank you for sharing quality work!

Each morning my students do one row for morning work. The parents like them, too!

I love these weekly math problems, especially the Friday blank box. I think this is very important for kids to be able to create their own math problems. The only suggestion I have for January is to rephrase "big balls of snow" to "snowballs". I teach 3rd graders, and some of them found the phrase "big balls" to be quite funny! :)
I love these! We use them with your number of the day for morning work. It really helps students to see the different clue words in word problems!

My class rates word problems as their least favorite of the math topics. These however, found favor with them.I especially enjoy the large space which allows the to draw a model and write an equation.

Hi Ashleigh,
I purchased your January Weekly Word Problems and it is not downloading properly. It is the frame of the document and all lines, not words. Could you possibly send it to me?
Thank you,
Tara Corcoran
I've been teaching for 8 years and think I have the best job in the world! I've taught 3rd and 4th grades and love developing curriculum and activities for my students.
