These Weekly Word problems allow students to practice their word problem skills each day. This consistent practice has helped my students make enormous gains in their problem solving skills! The October version contains a mixture of addition and subtraction word problems. All of the problems have a Halloween or fall themed question. There are no multiplication and division word problems in this version (they are introduced in November). In this activity, students have to solve 3 word problems a day, and on Fridays they write and solve their own word problems. There is also a sheet that is a combination of all of the week's word problems.
