Need something to motivate your students to learn their letter/sounds, phonics, word families, and word work? How about a chant that explains why they need to do the activity. This is a .mov file that can be opened with Quick Time on your computer. You no longer have to worry about syncing a power point with the song and setting the timing. It is ready to use on your students'computers or interactive whiteboard. You can use it with your Smart Board and pause during the slides to highlight words, letters, or strategies. LOL! The school board visited my classroom on a walking tour and sat down by my students during our Readers' Workshop block. They asked my students what they were doing. My students' response: "We're growing DENDRITES!" It was priceless. You can google an actual picture of what a dendrite looks like and its connection to learning. My students thought their brains were pretty awesome. Thanks for the feedback. I hope you are collecting lots of frequent buying and feedback points to spend soon.

Kathy,
I first met you at an SDE workshop and was sold on using a smartboard. I was able to put it to use last year and wow it was so fun for the kids and myself. Now I am moving to a school with a prometheum board. Most of your files that I used with the smartboard would not transfer over. The multimedia is not transferrable. Have you come up with things for the prometheum boards?

The multimedia files that I sell on the TpT site or at my conferences should transfer to any board because it is a Quick Time file. I am not familiar with a Promethean Board and it's the 4th of July - no customer service today. Can you email me so I can ask you some questions about your Promethean board?Do you have Quick Time on your computer? Does your board have the pen tools that you pick up and write on pages? The "Smart Board" files that I give away for free on my website and TpT have to be used with a Smart Board. Those are the spelling games and math games. I look forward to hearing from you.
