This is a writing response for informational text. I used it after reading Whales by Gail Gibbons but you could use it for any writing about whales. It is appropriate for first and second graders. There is a space to write the title of a book, the topic, three things that you learned and a space for an illustration. The lines are set to encourage excellent handwriting.
