This product includes writing worksheets for ten different community helpers and one worksheet for students to choose a different helper that is not included in the packet.
Children write about each community helper and illustrate their writing with a drawing. Each worksheet has a picture of the community helper and a speech bubble above each helper with a simple fact about that community helper.
Community helpers included in the packet are: doctor, mail carrier, medical technician, firefighter, sanitation worker, teacher, farmer, nurse, librarian, and police officer.
These worksheets can be used as social studies or literacy center activities or guided and independent writing assignments during your writing block.
