What a Character Trait! PowerPoint Lesson and Test Prep
This 37 slide PowerPoint defines and explains character traits. Students will be given the definition of character traits in kid friendly terms, and then explore the differences between character traits and appearance. Students will then practice these differences with a short game of "Inside" or "Outside". PowerPoint then goes on to explain how authors develop character traits, and how to draw inferences based on text clues. 8 guided test prep slides round out the presentation.
