This "Writing to Learn" (WtL) activity is a great way for students to check and share their understanding of a strategy/skill/topic during or after any content-area lesson. Students take 1-3 minutes to reflect on their understand and record their "muddiest point" to hand-in to the class "mud puddle" basket.
