Students will get to decide what the weather is like Monday through Friday using this book. Interactive books are books that encourage children to participate in the story. Children will manipulate story pieces while reading and singing the text. Students typically chart the weather during calendar time. You would be purchasing the downloadable materials (text, backboard, cover, manipulatives) to make the books including step by step directions, a photo layout of the book, and extension activities. My students LOVE using interactive books during literacy centers! My assistant and I create these books together and we teach county workshops on using these books in the primary classroom.
