I have a question about the Where in the World activity pages. I am thinking in the blank area on every page the students are to draw a picture and then write about that part of their school, city, state, etc.?
I am thinking I am correct, but with not seeing the finished product....you never know. :)

I use it with my class to teach that the world is bigger than just us...we talk about communities in 2nd grade. this is just a visual representation of how we are all a part of something bigger than ourselves. I guess I'm really not sure what you are asking me. I'm sorry...it is just an activity that we do in social studies. Hope that helps.

I have been teaching for 25 years. I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade...then began to loop with 2nd and 3rd graders. I absolutely loved looping! It was so exciting to watch the growth in those little buggers over a two year period....and talk about getting attached! Those little people, their families and I became very close. We stopped looping a few years ago when we changed principals. I'm trying to talk my new principal into letting me team teach with a friend....we just want to knock out one of the walls!
