This emergent reader is a great way to reinforce positional words. The book follows the simple pattern: The mitten is ________ the tree. The last page will bring a surprise to the children as to where the mittens should really be!! The children can cut the mittens provided and glue them in the correct place. The positional word is underlined in the sentence to help the children find it. These can be copied 2 books per page to save on paper.
