This fun classroom or hallway homophone hunt contains 16 cards featuring a picture and two homophones.
Just print, laminate, and hang the cards and allow students to find the cards, read the homophones, and select the correct one to name the picture and record on their recording sheet.
An 8.5"x11" sign to define and give examples of homophones is also included.
Supports CCSS Language standard 4:
Determine or clarify the meaning of unknown and multiple-meaning words...
Super fun for a whole class or independent word work activity. Would be fun as a non-traditional assessment too!
For extra fun, hang up the 4 "Eye tricked Ewe" cards! It's fun to watch students see a card, head over to it, only to find they don't need it after all!
