This is a simple and complete way to introduce right triangles and area that helps students "Discover" the Pythagorean Theorem. Using the detailed lesson plans, 2 PowerPoints and foldable (graphic organizer), the students form ownership of the Theorem and internalize the meaning and importance of this equation. Dressing up as Mr. or Mrs. Pythagoras and watching the historical video adds laughter and makes your class unforgettable! I have also provided information on the common core objective covered in this lesson. ENJOY!
