This learning and study activity helps students learn and retain their vocabulary words. The activity capitalizes on both the linguistic/symbolic capacities of the left hemisphere of brain and the visual/spatial capacities of the right hemisphere of their brain. When working with a vocabulary word students learn word and definition, but also incorporate visual/spatial activities. Particularly useful with students who have not experience success with vocabulary. This form also facilitates study skills as it can be used as a tangible study guide once completed. Student can fold the form in various ways to hide word or definition or any element. Then, can quiz him/herself or be quizzed by a friend or study partner. Useful with the Vocabulary Quiz Follow-Up Activity also available.
