This is a fun owl themed small group or center activity/game that is aligned with Common Core Standards. Students use the spinner to determine an initial sound and draw a card to determine a word ending. They combine the two to create CVC words in a fun way.
Word endings include: it, at, ug, an, et, ig, ox, in, op, un, ed, ot.
The 16 page set includes letters and worksheets to enhance the activity for a variety of learning styles.
