This is great to pull some activities that support the workbook we work with each day. The simple comparison of 2 items without getting into pounds and grams right away is well suited to grade 1 intro to measurement.
I used this in a math center after a whole class group activity. The students loved the pictures and had a great time discussing why each object was heavier or lighter!

First, I love this packet of activities, but I found a few things that are wrong....the activity where they are predicting which object is heavier, the title is Which Weights More? shouldn't it be Which WEIGHS more? Then in the directions, it says "First predicts which item weighs more." Also the pages where they have to draw the object that weighs more or less is also titled Which WEIGHTS more.
Thank you so much for catching those!!! It seems that no matter how many times I double check, there is always something I miss! I will get those corrected and revised. Thank you again!
I have corrected it. Thank you again! You can redownload for the updated version!
