I have several students this year who are struggling with the short vowel concept. I love that there are different ways for the student to study, practice, and use short vowels. Great job!!! Do you have any other downloads that work on different vowel sounds?

Hi there, the only other short vowel activity I have is not a freebie, it is here in my store. We call the vowels the stars of the alphabet and that is the theme of the packet. I just downloaded the Desert Habitat unit. The KWL pages printed with a large black rectangle shape on these 5 pages. The only page without it was the tortoise page. Why?
