This packet includes 60 original fluency passages (fiction, nonfiction, poems, and songs). Each passage includes Power Words (vocabulary), comprehension and phonics work along with a home connection component. Each passage also includes a seperate page of language arts skills. These passages are fantastic to supplement any reading program. They can be used in a whole group setting or for independent work. I use them in a whole group setting in my 1st grade classroom, but I have heard a lot of success from Kindergarten teachers using them with higher students and 2nd and 3rd grade teachers using them with their lower reading groups.
The weekly themes included in this packet are, Winter, Gingerbread, Winter Holidays, Christmas, Penguins, Polar Animals, Good Character, Inventors, Birds, Valentine's Day, Presidents, and School.

In this packet am I understanding it contains December, January, and February for $24.00. But if I buy them seperately I pay $3.00 each. What is the difference other than the cost. I don't mean to be rude in any way. I am very interested in buying the complete set for an entire year. I teach 2nd grade in a low income rural area. Most of my students are working on a lower reading level. This would be a great resource for them. Could you tell me the cost of purchasing the complete package? I know it's kind of confusing because I wanted to give people tons of options. Each monthly packet is $8.50 (making a 3 month packet purchased separately $25.50). Purchasing the Fall, Winter, or Spring packet saves $1.50 per packet. I also have each week that can be purchased on their own, which is $3.00 a piece. There are 4 weeks per monthly packet, which would be $12.00, but purchased as a whole month together is $8.50. Does that clear it up? (Clear as mud, right?!?) ;) Let me know if you have any questions.

Do the passages get progressively more difficult between Fall, Winter, and Spring? Also, if they are easier in the fall would the subject matter be completely irrelevant for me to use now? Thanks so much! I love all your stuff!

I love this packet. I am wondering iof there is a trick to get the bold words in the questions to be bold and clear. Right now when I print this pack, the bold words in the questions are double printed or blurry because it looks like it has the word is typed, then the same word typed over it in a different font. This makes it difficult to read.

I'm sorry, I don't. I have only created this one level of passages so far. It is extremely time consuming to write all of the passages, but someday I may take on the task of making them for other grade levels.
