This Pack Includes:
*5 Large Snow Globes-
each labeled with a vowel letter (a, e, i, o, u)
*5 sheets of snowflake picture cards
~1 sheet for each vowel sound
~12 pictures on each sheet
~60 picture cards total
*B&W printable
to use for assessment of mastery
*Ideas on how to set-up/use in your classroom
*Great literacy center, small/guided reading group word work activity, RTI group work, ‘fun’ way of assessing students
for skills, etc!
*Can use whole group when introducing/learning
new vowel sound!
*Can be modified/used in many ways!
~Use only globes for sounds you have covered
~Use 2 globes for students to distinguish between 2 vowel sounds that they may be confusing (ex ‘e’ and ‘i’)
~Use all 5 at the end of vowel instruction to see if they have mastered what you have taught
~Use as a game-(see ideas in pack)
*Cards can be made self-correcting (write letter on back)
for an independent literacy center!
*Aligns with Common Core Standards K.RF.2 & K.RF.3
