My students LOVE to read seasonal books! I use their love of season books to motivate them to complete graphic organizers for the seasonal books they read independently. However the options for using this product are endless! Use these organizers for ANY book during the winter season and enjoy the seasonal flair, use with your class with winter books you read together, in reading response journals, the options are endless!
The graphic organizers included review the following skills:
Sequencing
Story Elements: Characters, Setting, Problem and Solution
Problem and Solution (jncludes recording space for steps character took to solve the problem)
Character Traits (Includes options for boy and girl characters)

I recently purchased these after reading The Teacher's Cauldron's blog post about certain packs she uses each month. These are absolutely fabulous! So glad there are resources out there that can be purchased year round to help keep things consistent in the classroom! The first graphic organizer I used with my second graders was the cause and effect. It worked perfectly! Thanks so much! These would also be great to use with my small reading group :)
