This is a powerpoint that will introduce intermediate students (4th-6th) to the rights of women from 1620-1920 including the struggle to expand those rights. The powerpoint includes a pre/post test and timeline, quickwrite, graphic organizer and showing what you know activities to be done as lesson progresses. This may lenghten lesson to more than one day. It is brightly colored and includes pictures to help link learning. Leigh Jacobus

Overall, the power point is good. You might want to change slides #2 and #3 as they are difficult to read because of the colors you chose.

I taught in the classroom for 22 years and have been an instructional coach for the last 14 years. I have taught all elementary grades and special education. I have been a instructional coach in a great variety of schools. I have taught courses at Bellarmine University (Children's lit.) I have writien and coached teachers to use three beyond the school day total curriculums with struggling students. I was the elementary reading person in our district for almost 2 years. I also mentor new teachers for our district and observe teacher interns as the University /Teacher educator for U of L.
