This packet contains 23 word building worksheets for most of the holidays that occur during the school year. Students cut out letters at the bottom of the page and rearrange them to build new words. They list the words they build in the recording section. I have aligned this activity to 2 first grade common core standards under Reading: Foundational Skills, Phonics and Word Recognition. This activity could be considered appropriate for students in grades K-3 or possibly beyond!
