Are you teaching Word Families? Do your students need to practice with easy to read word family words? These Word Family Games are a great way for your kids to practice their Word Family Words. This product gives you a zipped folder of 41 pdf files, each containing a File Folder game for one Word Family. Each game allows students to practice reading words in the word family by matching pictures to the printed word in order to get around the game board. Simply print, laminate and put these in a center in order to allow kids to practice their word family words over and over. (Alternative uses provided in the Teacher Instructions page.)

I currently teach a mixed age class of 3rd and 4th graders at the International School of Morocco. Previously, I have taught 1st grade and 3rd grade, as well as teaching all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia. I have taught both high income and low-income school students, and find that no matter where I teach, most kids need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
