This includes 150 sight words to learn for Kindergarten. The words come from the pre-primer and primer lists of Dolch words as well as color words, number words to five, directional words, words included in directions on a page, and Bob Jones University's service word list. Because it is a PDF this version cannot be modified. If you would like one that can be modified, there is another item for sale like it. If you cannot use a .docx file, please send me a question and I can modify the file for you.
There are three lists of 50 words, broken into five flash card groups of ten words. They are designed to be practiced ten at a time at home and then recited at school. When all 50 are learned, the child then reads all 50 words in one sitting. A page of these words is provided.
A matching word wall has also been created with blank cards for child names and any other words you want to learn. Heading cards with the uppercase and lower case of each letter are also given.
A game, Stomp, is provided for extra practice in a fun way. Other ideas are also given.
I have used this for two years and it has helped my students learn the sight words necessary to prepare for first grade.
