This packet contains many different writing activities. They could be used as a classroom lesson or once they are introduced they could be used as a free writing choice or at a writing center.
The work on writing ideas in this packet are: Postcard, Facts I Know Narrative, Facts I Know List, How To, Book, Friendly Letters, Birthday Cards, Thank You Cards, Get Well Cards, Build A Story, Picture Story Prompts, Comics, Vacation Brochure and Recipes.
The majority of the items are created with lines for lower elementary and upper elementary. This will allow you to use what is appropriate for your individual students. After I introduce each of these, I put them in my Work on Writing area of the classroom.
Each writing type also has a writing example to show the students, except for the comic. In my pictures of the product, you will see a couple of the examples. Blank copies for the students are included in this product.
I included labels for each writing type if you want to store these in tubs or drawers. I put a picture of how I use these in the pictures of the product.
